"Palme - The Movie" embarks with the most vibrating of images, capturing the essence of luminosity found in this world-famous personality. The man who shares the stage with Richard Nixon, Fidel Castro and Shirley MacLaine. We are depicting an era as well. Or multiple eras. The movie's visual expression will also be a tale of how Sweden was formed and transformed from the 1920's to the end of 1986 when Palme was murdered. What did people look like? How did they talk? How did they think? And how did the people change in the country known as Sweden? Through music, fashion, design, through the expression of official institutions, we travel with Olof Palme. Through his childhood, education, his trips abroad, his loves, the origins of his political life. This is a film where we enter into the history of modern times and make it interesting, attractive, and exciting, including for the generations who couldn't be there at the time.
