Impremie Clot, Bramsen et Georges is situated in Rue Vieille du Temple, in the centre of Paris. The workshop was founded by Auguste Clot, who counted Toulouse-Lautrec and Degas among his customers.
Today the owners are Peter Bramsen and Clot's great-grandchild Guy Georges, and one of the artists now using the workshop is Pierre Alechinsky.
Both Peter and Pierre master the art of lithography almost to perfection, and are therefore a natural choice for a film describing this technique, and the beautiful workshop is an equally natural setting.
This film, as well as being educational, is the story of the environment around lithography - a craft that is unfortunately fast becoming extinct.
