Young Junes, son of an immigrant, is in a bind. He is tired of selling hot goods to fences and feels he is being pushed into his best friend Bobby's desperate, dangerous criminal plans. More than anything, Junes would like to return to the boxing ring that gave him dignity and a sense of identity. Pizza King, a little fast-food joint, is where they hang out, pass the time of day, and swap stories. Junes is the guy with his head screwed on, Bobby the devil-may-care type, and when they come across 25 kilograms of cannabis during a burglary, a conflict of loyalties arises; it intensifies when Junes falls for the beautiful Fatima, a law student from outside the all-male crime scene.
