The story of three almost 80-year-old Polish women who came to Denmark at the age of 20 to work in the beet fields. They are spinsters, believing Catholics, and not very good at Danish. In the neighbourhood, they are still known as THE POLISH GIRLS. They tell about their lives, then, when they came to Denmark, and today. Unfortunately they are hard to understand.
