Christmas is everywhere, including the Public Records office where venerable pixie Goldenpud is doing his best to prevent Pyrus, his curious, inventive apprentice, from getting up to his merry pranks. But Pyrus and girl pixie, Candy, discover a secret laboratory and things go badly wrong. The son-in-law-to-be of the Keeper of Public Records shrinks when Pyrus doctors his tea, and while Candy and Goldenpud are trying to reverse the effects of the potion, pixie magic goes nationwide. Even the prime minister's Christmas treat for the nation comes under a magic spell; disaster threatens and the pixies are the only lifeline.
