That will also be necessary because productivity has got its price - especially in the shape of waste, rubbish, waste water and air pollution«, the opening of the film says. But this is not enough: Pollution and discharge do not disappear just because we sort and clean up. Cleaner technology tries to avoid pollution completely - not only during the production, but also during the whole lifetime of the product. The film gives examples of replacement of dangerous substances and recycling of waste products.
