When 12-year old Rebecka realises that her mum will not give in - the party with her classmates will take place in their home - her world collapses. What if they tease him because he sounds funny, or laugh at his flailing arms? Rebecka puts her severely disabled little brother Jonathan into some hard training, but is at the same time plagued by her own conflicting feelings. Everything is looking hopeless until she meets Charlotte, a girl with 'restricted growth' who knows everything about feeling different. If Rebecka is to get any understanding from her it will demand a courage she does not know if she has. The party is drawing nearer and Jonathan is still the same; happy, loud and so very heavenly different¿
