Asta is seven years old and in her first year at school. She has lost eight milk teeth and at present none of her teeth are wobbly. She walks to school every day with her best friend, and after school she does fencing classes. Right now, though, what she is looking forward to most is a two-day camp with her after-school club. The film follows a day in Asta¿s life as she prattles away about everything under the sun. Gradually her tone changes as she describes a spell in hospital with tummy ache. The pain turned out to have been sparked off by a row between her parents.
