The scaffolders' industrial action from January to May 1978: Four hands were fired from the firm ACTIV and the rest downed tools. The Scaffolders' Trade Union did not want to submit the dismissals to industrial arbitration, upon which the Contractors' Federation extended the dispute to all scaffolding firms in Copenhagen.
