The families of artist Tal Rosenzweig and filmmaker Daniel Dencik originates from the same village in the former Czechoslovakia. Though parted, emigrated, immigrated and almost eliminated, years later, faith brings the two families together in the suburb of Copenhagen, where Tal and Daniel grow up. Tal R has painted, sculpted and expressed himself to the top of the international art scene. In Daniel Dencik's portrait, we get to know the artist through his colleague, painter John Kørner, his neighbor, poet Søren Ulrik Thomsen, his German friend, artist Jonathan Meese, his uncle, tile gardener Ole and not least the artist himself and his parents.
