This story is about Christina and Majbritt, who despite very different backgrounds are the best of friends. Majbritt's unemployed father dreams of his champion carrier pigeon winning The Big Race. When this ambition seems dramatically shattered, the two girls unite to train the little pigeon, Viktoria. Against all odds, Viktoria wins the race and the irrepressible determination of the two girls sets an exhilearating example for all.
