Oliver's father is a soldier who is send to South Sudan for half a year. He doesen’t know the country, he doesen’t know what it looks like and what his father is going to do. But he know there is a war going on which is causing a lot of difficult thoughts and feelings. In eye level we experience how the absence of a father feels like for a 14-15 year old boy. A boy that loves shooting and war games – like many other boys. But who hates the thought of war in reality. The longer dad is away, the more Oliver disappears into a world of his own.
What is only a nightmare for oliver, is the reality for other children whose fathers come home more or less affected from the war. Fathers with PTSD, fathers who have seen things they can not forget, fathers who have lost friends on the war,
