Wolfland

A personal and poetic portrait of the director's own neighbourhood in Copenhagen. Over the course of three years, she has managed to get unique access to the children and teenagers of the area and to capture life from their perspective. Raised in Sweden with Polish parents and now living in Denmark, the director is interested in what it is like growing up with several cultures – as these kids do. Dealing with themes like cultural differences, death, body and identity, the documentary dives into childhood – as a state of mind, as a place and as a period of time.
