This film introduces the viewer to Denmark, its culture and people, and their traditions and attitudes with lightness and humor. Denmark is portrayed as a country where the Queen plays a role in democracy, where remoulade sauce is a must on your fried fillet of fish, and where women can marry women and a man can become a midwife. And then there is, of course, the weather. How do we see ourselves? How do "the others" see us?
