The film was made at the TOURING COLLEGE after a study tour to the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen in Sept.-Oct. 1973. It deals with the historical background of the country, its difficulties as a result of the closing of the Suez Canal and the ensuing exodus of the British, the left-wing seizure of power in June 1969, how the workers take over the factories and the farmers the land.
