Anita Mathal Hopland

Director. Born 1981. Graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2011 with her graduation short ‘Underneath the Dark’.

Hopland made her feature-length debut as a director and cinematographer in 2017 with the documentary ‘On the Edge of Freedom’, which premiered in competition at CPH:DOX. 'Moosa Lane' (2022) is her second long-form documentary.
