Director, screenwriter. Born 1984. Graduated from German Film and Television Academy in Berlin.
Hartmann made her feature film debut as a screenwriter and director with the graduation film 'Limbo' (2014), which premiered at San Sebastián Film Festival and subsequently screened at SWSW, CPH PIX as well as Göteborg and Rotterdam Film Festival. The film was nominated for the "European Discovery" at European Film Awards in 2015. Her second feature film 'Giraffe' (2019), which she also wrote and directed, premiered at Locarno Film Festival.
