Aud Egede-Nissen

(1893 – 1974)

Norwegian actress (1893-1974). In 1913, she acted in five Danish films at Danish film production company Danio Biofilm. After that, she moved to Germany where she experienced great success. She set up her own film production company in Berlin, Egede-Nissen-Film Comp., appearing in films directed by, for example, Ernest Lubitsch, F.W. Murnau and Fritz Lang.
