Director, scriptwriter, actress. Born 13/7 1960, Denmark. Graduated from the Danish National School of Theatre in 1985 and, as scriptwriter, from the National Film School of Denmark in 1995.
Sieling has established herself as one of Denmark's strongest television directors with series like 'Unit 1', 'Better Times', 'The Killing' and ''The Bridge'. Internationally, she has directed for American series such as 'Queen of the South', 'Homeland' and 'The Americans.'
Sieling made her directorial feature film debut with 'Above the Street below the Water' (2009), which was selected for Cannes Film Festival. Her second feature 'The Man' (2017) screened at a number of international film festivals. The historical epic 'Margrete the First' (2021) is her third feature.
