Director. Born 14 December 1972. Christiansen graduated in production from the National Film School of Denmark in 2001 and worked as a producer on several Danish productions before making his directorial debut in 2006 with "Life Hits".
He was since directed several Danish feature films such as 'ID:A' (2011) and 'On the Edge' (2014). For television he has directed the second season of 'Dicte' (2014), first season of 'Below the Surface' (2017) and the miniseries 'Hope' (2018).
He was nominated for an Oscar for his short film "At Night" (2007), which he developed into his second feature film, "Crying for Love" (2008).
Christiansen¿s Hollywood debut, "The Roommate" (2011), was the first ever film directed by a Dane to go straight to number one on the American boxoffice charts. "Where the Devil Hides" (2014) is Christiansen's second Hollywood film.
