Producer. Born 12/12 1982. Graduated as a producer from the National Film School of Denmark in 2011. Has a EAVE Producers Workshop degree from 2015. Holds a BA in film and media studies from the University of Copenhagen in 2007.
Milsted's first feature film as producer was 'When Animals Dream' (2014), which premiered at the Cannes Festival. Since then she has executive produced Danish films such as 'In the blood' (2016), 'Darkland' (2017), '3 Things' (2017) and 'Valhalla' (2019)
Milsted has also worked as co-producer on a number of international productions, starting with feature film 'Rams' (2015), which received a number of awards, including the main prize of Un certain regard at the Cannes Festival. Since then she has co-produced films such as 'Under the Tree' (2018), which was selected for Venice Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival, as well as Giraffe (2019), which premiered in main competition at Locarno Film Festival, and 'The County' (2019), which was selected for Toronto Film Festival.
In 2011 Milsted established the Profile Pictures production company together with producers Jacob Jarek and Thor Sigurjonsson.
In 2017 Milsted is selected to participate in Producers on the Move, the European networking platform for young producers that takes place every year during the Cannes Festival.
