Producer and director. Holds a Master's degree in Communication from Roskilde University supplemented with courses in film production from San Francisco State University. Jens Pedersen owns the production company Pedersen & Co., which has produced a number of documentaries across the world.
Pedersen has directed the documentary series "Faith Hope Afghanistan" (2013), from which an episode won two Danish BUSTER Awards the same year, as well as series "Kids on The Silk Road" (2017). Both series had several episodes selected for screening and competition at IDFA among other international festivals.
In 2004 Pedersen produced the documentary "Blue Collar White Christmas", which received a Special Prize of The Jury at the Danish Robert Awards in 2005. In 2015 he edited Jakob Gottschau's documentary "Facebookistan".
