Algren got her debut as a novelist in 2008 with the youth book 'Louis', which she followed up in 2012 with 'Louis' Life'. She got her debut as a screenwriter on Isabella Eklöf's 'Holiday' (2018), which screened at Sundance and Göteborg. Since then, Algren has written the first Danish HBO series 'Kamikaze' (2021), which will premiere at the TV festival Series Mania.
