Born 1973, Sweden. Writer-director on nine children's films in the early nineties. Graduated in direction from the National Film School of Denmark, 1997. His graduation film "Manden fra dybet" received honours in Melbourne, Tel Aviv and San Francisco.
Feature film debut "Af Banen"/"We are the Champions" (2005) was honoured at Stockholm's Junior Festival with Best Feature Film award and won the Children's Jury Prize at Lübeck Nordic Film Days. "Remix" (2008) is Hagbjer's second feature film.
