Director and screenwriter. Born 1971, Denmark. Attended the scriptwriting course at the National Film School of Denmark. Has worked as a music producer, radio host and writer-director of radio drama for the national broadcaster DR.
Co-writer on the awardwinning feature film "Voksne Mennesker"/"Dark Horse" (2005) with director Dagur Kari. Also writer on Martin de Thurah's short film "Ung Mand Falder"/"Young Man Falling".
Directial debut with the short film "Pandasyndromet"/"The Panda Syndrome". "Skyscraper" (2010), selected for Berlin's Generation 14plus, is Rune Schjøtt's feature film debut.
