Graduated from Copenhagen Business School in 1995. She was subsequently hired as production coordinator at the advertising company Moland Film. She later got a job at the Danish production company Zentropa as an assistant to the CEO. Peter Aalbæk Jensen. She got her feature film debut as a producer on Zentropa's 'Chop chop' (2001).
She went on to produce Susanne Bier's dogme film 'Open Hearts' (2002), which marked the beginning of a creative partnership with the director. Graum Jørgensen has since produced all of Bier's Danish films. She has also worked with renowned directors such as Lone Scherfig, Thomas Vinterberg, Kristian Levring and Pernille Fischer Christensen.
Several of her films have received prestigious awards. 'After the Wedding' (Susanne Bier, 2006) was nominated to an Oscar, 'In a Better World' (Susanne Bier, 2010) won an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a European Film Award for best director, 'A Royal Affair (Nikolaj Arcel, 2012) won two Silver Bears at the Berlinale Film Festival and was also nominated to an Oscar and a Golden Globe while 'The Hunt' (2013) won Nordic Council Film Prize and received an Oscar-nomination.
'Another Round' (2020) by Thomas Vinterberg screened at Cannes and Toronto as well as San Sebastían and London Film Festival, where it won awards. The film took home four awards at the European Film Awards, where it was named best feature. 'Another Round' was also nominated for a Golden Globe and two Oscars.
Graum Jørgensen appeared on Screen International's Talent Watchlist in 2003 and Variety's list of 10 producer to watch in Cannes in 2004.
