Dalsgaard Thomsen wrote the short film 'Growing Pains' (2014), which was selected for Toronto Film Festival and won the Danish competition at Odense International Film Festival. 'Venus' (2010) won the animation competition at Slamdance Film Festival.
She made her long form debut with the hybrid documentary 'The Return' (2018), which won special mentions at both Göteborg Film Festival and Rotterdam Film Festival. 'Breeder' (2020) is her first feature film as a screenwriter.
