Final Cut for Real ApS

Final Cut For Real Aps was founded in 2009 by producers Signe Byrge Sørensen and Anne Köhncke, and was later joined by producers Monica Hellström, Heidi Elise Christensen and post producer Maria Kristensen. The company specializes in artistic documentaries, which it has produced a great number of, including two children's documentaries: "Chikara: The Sumo Wrestler's Son" (2014) and "The Fencing Champion" (2014) by Simon Lereng Wilmont, both selected for IDFA.

The company is behind productions such as "The Act of Killing" (Joshua Oppenheimer, 2012) and "The Look of Silence" (Joshua Oppenheimer, 2014), which have both received huge international acknowledgement and multiple awards. "The Act of Killing" has been on the program on approximately 160 festivals and won 60 awards, while "The Look of Silence" won five awards in Venice and The Peace Award in Berlin. Final Cut For Real's documentary "Pervert Park" directed by Frida and Lasse Barkfors was on the Sundance Film Festival in 2015, where it won the jury's Impact Award. The short fiction film "Pebbles at Your Door" (Vibeke Bryld, 2015) competed at the film festival in Berlin in 2015.
