M&M Productions

Production company founded by Tivi Magnusson and his son Kim Magnusson in 1995. Screenwriter and director Anders Thomas Jensen is the center of the company's productions. He wrote the screenplays for two of the company's first films that were both short fiction films, which has been the M&M Production's trademark film format. The company has been very successful in getting its short fiction film nominated for Oscar awards: "Wolfgang" (Anders Thomas Jensen, 1997), "Ernst and the Light" (Anders Thomas Jensen and Tomas Villum Jensen, 1997), "Election Night" (Anders Thomas Jensen, 1998), "This Charming Man" (Martin Strange-Hansen, 2003) and "Helium" (Anders Walters, 2014). "Election Night", "This Charming Man" and "Helium" all won the prestigious award.

Apart from short fiction films the company has also produced at number of feature films. M&M produced Anders Thomas Jensen's feature film debut as a director with "Flickering Lights" (2000) and continued their cooperation with three follow-ups. Furthermore the company has produced multiple children's and youth feature films and has cooperated on international co-productions such as Søren Kragh-Jacobsen's English feature film "The Island on Bird Street" (1997) and Swedish mystery feature "Wallander - det næste skridt" (Birger Larsen, 2005).
