Danmark, 1981

27 min.DK/DokumentarfilmTuristfilm

Film about the Nordic countries, made by the five nordic tourist boards for an American audience. The film demonstrates sights, traditions and tourist attractions in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland. The capitals of each country (Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, and Reykjavik) are displayed while the film also takes its audience to a music festival in Bergen (Norway), the plains of Lapland, and a midsummer night's celebration in the Swedish woods. We also see Americans in Denmark celebrating 4th of July in Rebild Bakker. Queen Margrethe II of Denmark is present at the celebrations.

Notice: In the Nordic countries the term 'Scandinavia' only refers to Denmark, Norway and Sweden, whereas internationally it sometimes refers to all of the Nordic countries (In Danish called 'Norden').
