I Gudhjem på Bornholm har der siden 1990 hvert år været afholdt Balticum Film & TV Festival. I en serie præsenterer Statens Filmcentral nogle af de bedste filmoplevelser fra festivalen. »Hold the Line«, som er en del af antologien »Baltikum - Sct. Petersborg 3 kortfilm«, er et visuelt digt med fokus på storbyens kommunikationslinier, infrastruktur og bevægelse.
