A Fine Way Out (A Fine Day Out)

William Augustinus, Denmark, 1911

DK/FeatureComedy, Farce, ComedySilent films

The henpecked Krog is in two minds. He’s received an invitation to a party with his friends but is convinced that his wife will say no. Fortunately, a solution appears in the form of his friend Tim and his wife, who make a surprise visit and decide to stay overnight. While the women are graciously offered the bedroom, Krog and Tim jump into the guestroom, so they can sneak out unnoticed as soon as the ladies have fallen asleep. But will they get home to bed in time?

A small part of the ending seems to be missing. The film contains no intertitles.
