Maria Tórgarð

Director. Born and raised on the Faroe Islands, where she has worked in film since 2014.

Tórgarð has directed a number of short films and music videos. She got her debut with the long-form documentary 'Skál' (2021, co-directed by Cecilie Debell), which was selected for the main competition at CPH:DOX.
