Danish film director and actor, born December 26 1869, died January 10 1947. He was one of Denmark's most productive directors, directing over 100 films in the period 1910-1924 while in the service of Danish film production company, Nordisk Films Kompagni, including "Atlantis", 1913, and "Maharadjaens Yndlingshustru", 1917 ("A Prince of Bharata").
