Producer. Born 30/7 1961. Graduated as a producer from The National Film School of Denmark in 1997.
Rahbek made his feature film debut in 2003 where he was behind the award-winning co-production 'Torremolinos 73' and the Danish feature 'Skagerrak' by Søren Kragh-Jacobsen. In 2006 he produced 'A Soap' by Pernille Fischer Christensen, which won the Jury Grand Prix and the award for best debut feature at the Berlinale. 'Flame & Citron' (Ole Christian Madsen, 2008) was selected for Telluride and Toronto Film Festival and became one of the biggest commerical successes of the year in Denmark. His collaboration with Ole Christian Madsen continued on both 'Superclásico' (2011) and 'Itsi Bitsi', both selected for Toronto.
Rahbek has also produced films such as 'What No One Knows' (2008), which premiered at the Berlinale, 'The Hour of the Lynx' (2013), 'Satisfaction 1720' (2016), selected for Karlovy Vary and Göteborg, and 'The Man' (2017), which screened at the film festivals in Rotterdam and Göteborg.
