Magnus Millang got his breakthrough in the comedy series 'Danish Dynamite' in 2012. In 2014 he won the prize for Comedian of the year at the Danish Comedy Galla Awards. Millang made his feature film debut as an actor in 2013 in 'The Keeper of Lost Causes'. He has since appeared in films such as 'The Commune' (2016), 'Dan-Dream' (2017), 'Kursk' (2018) and 'Another Round' (2020), the latter of which earned him the actor's prize at San Sebastián Film Festival (shared with his three co-actors).
He wrote and directed the short film 'Kein Problem' (2017), which was selected for Odense International Film Festival. He made his feature film debut as a director and screenwriter on 'Heavy Load' (2019) in which he also plays the leading role. He co-wrote the film with his brother Emil Millang who also stars in the film.
