Danish actor and director, born January 23 1859, died July 10 1928). He started his career at Danish film production company Nordisk Films Kompagni, playing the title part in "Kean" (1910). 1913 marked his last year as a film actor. In 1914, he made his début as a director at Dania Bio Film, and in 1916-17 was one of Nordisk Film's leading directors.
