Cinematographer. Born 16/6 1972, Aarhus, Denmark. Graduated from The National Film School of Denmark in 1999.
Sebastian Blenkov has been cinematographer on a number of features and television series. Among these are the Danish series 'Nikolaj and Julie' (2002) and 'Bankerot' (2014) as well as features 'Rene hjerter' (2006) and 'Excuse me' (2012), which both got him nominated for Danish Robert awards. He is the Director of Photography on Lone Scherfig's 'Secrets from the Russian Tea Room' (2018).
Since doing 'The Green Butchers' (2003), which also brought with it a Robert nomination, Blenkov has been the go-to cinematographer for director Anders Thomas Jensen. This has since resulted in the features 'Adam's Apples' (2005) and 'Men & Chicken' (2015).
