6. juni 1994 fødes seks piger samtidig i et religiøst samfund. Sektens leder ser det som et tegn på en gammel profeti, hvor én af pigerne på sin 18-års fødselsdag viser sig at være Djævelens håndlanger. Lederen vil myrde alle seks, men en af pigernes fædre forhindrer massakren. Knap 18 år senere, kort før pigernes fælles fødselsdag, begynder en ukendt gerningsmand at føre planen ud i livet.
