"Last Men in Aleppo" (2017) is directed by Feras Fayyad, with Johannessen as co-director. He is also editor on the film, which won the international documentary competition at Sundance Film Festival and the main award at CPH:DOX. The film was nominated for an Oscar in the Documentary Feature category.
